Hoetten's Hemlock Haven

Relax with the whole family or with someone special in this little piece of heaven. There’s fun in the sun or snow! Take the kayaks, peddle boat or canoe and explore the lake or enjoy a day at Ski Wentworth, come back to warm up and roast marshmallows by the fire (wood provided) then lounge in the gazebo and top it all off with a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Lots of trails for walking, hiking or snowshoeing. Located just 16km from Ski Wentworth and 18km from the charming village of Tatamagouche.

Birch Burn Retreat

Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. Essential facilities include portapotty, wash station, and fresh water. Dogs are welcome. Enjoy the secluded beauty of Birch Burn Retreat. Due to provincial ban, fires not allowed until ban lifted

Peaceful riverside retreat on 5 private acres along the River Philip, known for trout and salmon fishing. This cozy studio located in the basement features a semi-private bedroom (curtain), an additional den/ bedroom, full bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen (no stove). Enjoy a hot tub, fire pit with free firewood, abundant wildlife, and a 200m trail leading directly to the river. Perfect for nature lovers 🐾 Pets are welcome! We do ask that dogs be kept on a leash outdoors (3 outdoor cats)

Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!
