Relax with the whole family at this lakefront 2 bedroom cottage on Lake Marion . Enjoy the screen porch overlooking deep water or fish from your private dock as you watch orange and red sunsets. Enjoy Grilling outdoors or cooking inside the open, fully stocked kitchen all while friends and family hang out in the double living room. Each room has its own smart tv so whether you retire early from your kayak/paddleboard adventure or stay up for s’mores and a movie, you will find a place to relax.

This pond-side cottage is a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Sit on the enclosed porch and watch the water or enjoy the front porch swing where you can listen to the birds and frogs. We are 12 min. from downtown Sumter and 20 min from Shaw AFB. Local points of interest are Swan Lake Iris Gardens and Poinsett State Park. It is only 2 hours to Myrtle Beach and Charleston, SC & 3 hrs to the mtns. While it is conveniently located, this cottage offers a quiet place to put your feet up and rest.

Our updated kitchen and two full bathrooms are stocked with all the essentials. Hop on a boat, swim in the community pool, fish, walk, run, or bike the pedestrian bridge, or just hang out with your company while watching the boats go by. Please respect the fact that there is a small pet fee and we’re alerted when pets are present.

Bring your family or group to this 3 bedroom 1+ bath place in the large trees with lots of room for relaxing and fun (….if you are a jeans and sweatshirt kind of person. It is not the Hilton!) TVs in each room, and 2 covered decks. Fish, or just sit out on the dock, watch the boats run by, and appreciate the lake. We rarely use the dock ourselves. 600’ from our public boat ramp with a park and small beach. Please also note that we do have cameras installed that monitor outside only.

Our cabin is located in Stateburg, SC between Columbia and Sumter and within a 5-15 minute commute to Shaw AFB and Sumter. It is a convenient stop between I-77 and I-95 and has close proximity to Poinsett and Congaree Parks and The Palmetto Trail. It sits on top of a hill offering panoramic views, quiet, and privacy. Mine Hill sunrises and sunsets are stunning. Reserve as a stopover, a retreat from the workday, or a romantic getaway and enjoy our cabin as a home away from home.

Bring your boat and pull kids tubing or find a secluded undeveloped cove less than 15 minutes away to fish or bird watch. Parties and events are not allowed.
