I 1856 begynte en engelsk steinmester, Thompson Priest, å gruve skifer i Mintaro. Samtidig bygget han et hjem med stall på baksiden av eiendommen sin. I løpet av de inngripende årene falt stallene i en desperat tilstand, men nylig har Stallet gått tilbake til livet gjennom en følsom restaurering og renovering. Stallet ligger i utkanten av Reillys vingård, 100 meter gjennom vinstokkene til kjellerdøren og ytterligere 20 meter til det berømte Magpie Stump Hotel.
