Located mid-way between Dartmoor & Exmoor national park & just a 40mins drive from the north Devon coast.

Come and enjoy a rural retreat in our newly converted barn with unrivalled views over Exmoor and a cosy chic interior. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

The 3 bedrooms all in keeping with the character of the cottage and furnished to a high standard. A bathroom and wc also on the first floor.

The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign
