Rustic cabin w/sauna on Portage Lk

Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

Tiny Home Glamping in the Keweenaw - 12 min to MTU

High-end glamping in the Keweenaw Peninsula. This tiny house/cabin features two lofts with queen-sized beds, a wood burning fireplace, dock with paddle boat on two acre pond, access to the Pike River and 20 acres of land for hiking and recreation. Cook in the kitchen or over the outdoor fire pit. Enjoy a wood-fired sauna and cool off with a dip in the pond. Bring a fishing rod and catch dinner out of the pond or the river! No running water but indoor composting toilet and a rain barrel/sink.

Kerban's Overlook

Nice, clean apartment just 5 minutes from Michigan Tech and a view of Portage Lake (lake access too!). One stall of garage parking available so you can go right from car to apartment without dealing with the snow. The driveway is plowed. Wifi, heat, keurig coffee selection included. Washer and dryer are in the spacious bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen and electric fireplace. Stairlift from garage. Queen sized bed with additional pullout couch (about full sz) and toddler bed.

Pike Bay cozy apartment

A cozy apartment space with room to spread out. Featuring a modern kitchen and bath with all the amenities one might need while visiting our beautiful area. Featuring ensuite laundry, full size cook top, and full size refrigerator; whether your here for a day or a few weeks, there is room to spread out. A spacious bathroom with a large shower and sinks to make preparing for your day smooth. Located on the second floor over a future coffee shop seating area, stairs to the second level.

Otter House

Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer. *Please note that the entry is on the basement level and the main living area is up a flight of stairs.

Relax at this rustic and tranquil getaway. What it offers: One queen bed, one sofa sleeper, parking, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, WIFI, Roku TV, coffee maker, 3/4 bathroom, a fantastic view, nestled on Pike Bay, 20 gallon hot water heater. Instant snowmobile access to the lake in winter. Air conditioning in summer and 2 wall furnaces for warmth in winter. What it doesn't have: Oven, automatic dishwasher, laundry facilities.

Easy access off US41 between Baraga and Chassell in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. Fully appointed kitchen, full bath with tub/shower, washer and dryer and wood fireplace. A little piece of tranquil heaven on the greatest Great Lake! Dogs are very welcome! $25 dog fee

This historic building is formally known as the Chassell Community Center and was home to three consecutive state championship teams in the late 1950's. This cozy home is located in Dollar Bay which is just minutes to Houghton (4 miles). Enjoy the deck, covered porch or patio while cooking on the grill. Close to snowmobile trail, restaurant bar and convenience store (all only 1-2 blocks). Plenty of room to sleep with 3 bedrooms and a queen hideaway bed.
