Oakbrook Akers Lakeside Cabin Retreat

Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the lake, take time to meander to the docks to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Our 124 year old Cabin is just a 1/2 mile from Main Street. The long driveway crosses a spring-fed creek and winds up the hill to a secluded home surrounded by trees. Guests often hear the creek's flowing water from the front porch swing. This 1600 square foot home includes a full kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea. The patio has a gas fire pit and the backyard has a Tiki smokeless fire pit with free firewood. Hammocks and bicycles for guest use. 50 meg Wifi. Make yourself at home!
