The Lakeview Nook – Midcentury Modern Stay

Enjoy this mid-century modern guest house in a spectacular site, with a lake view, waterfall, and forest all in one place. The house was just fully renovated. This house is just 2 miles from Ithaca downtown and 3 miles from Cornell University. The location is super close to everything Ithaca has to offer—Ithaca falls, downtown, restaurants, the farmer's market, wineries, all within a few minutes drive of your rental. This unit is fully private, with no shared areas/entrance with the other unit.

This wing of my renovated and restored 1880’s farmhouse has private front and back entrances leading to the main hallway/parlor. Living room with TV, puzzles, games, cards, magazines, and more. The adjoining kitchen and dining area offers many amenities such as fridge, stove, microwave, coffee service. Under stairs is a half bath. Up the grand staircase are two large queen rooms with full bathrooms en suite, as well as an additional queen bedroom w/out bath. Tasteful, comfortable, thoughtful.

Beautifully restored 1875 village home 2 blocks from Seneca Lake, in the heart of wine country. Our quaint village is centrally located on Seneca Lake where over 50 wineries/breweries await you. Keuka outlet trail is a few blocks away- use our bikes to explore gorgeous waterfalls and trails. Your spacious private suite has a separate entrance and porch all to yourself with mini frig,microwave and Keurig. along with an en suite bathroom. The Copper Barn next door has additional lodging.

Key-hole shaped bathroom door, elephant themed mosaic made from Seneca Lake fossils, a tiled map of the Finger Lakes region in the shower, stone surrounded mirror, and a Finger Lakes shaped bar sink are only a few of the superfluous, yet beguiling details that line the Finger Lakes Cottage. It has incredible hardwood trim, granite countertops, and stained glass rescued from an old NYC church. Furthermore, it sleeps up to 4 people (queen+double) and is incredibly dog-friendly.
