Ivy Bank Studio is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. This comfortable cottage offers panoramic views over Wigtown Bay and the Galloway Hills. With direct access to route 7 of the National Cycle Network, our cottage makes an ideal base for walking, cycling, mountain biking , bird watch, families or just chilling out. Ample safe parking, drying room and lockable storage room.
The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!
