Private house with a cosy decor in the hearth of the Slieve Felim Way walking trail which starts in Murroe and ends in the Silvermines, Co. Tipperary and the trail is approximately 43 kilometres long. We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. Its only a 20 minute drive to Limerick City and close to Clare Glens and Glenstal Abbey. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Aine House

Short drive to either Limerick City or Killaloe on Lough Derg. With St Johns Castle and Bunratty Castle and folk park also within 15 to 30mins drive. On return relax in this spacious and peaceful space. Adjacent scenic walk along the aqueduct built in the 1920's with wonderful views while taking the stroll some 6klm if one desires. A fantastic gateway for those looking to explore West Ireland and Atlantic coast line.
