A relaxing ferry trip from West Seattle or Fast Ferry from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private walk in cottage, right on the edge of the water. Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

" Captain's Quarters", at Sylvanrude, Lakebay WA

The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!

The bedroom features bunk beds for the little ones while the loft features a mid-century modern Queen bed for the grown-ups. Basic kayaks, inflatables, and life jackets are provided! Enjoy the peace & serenity of a quiet, non-motorized little lake in the woods in a classic, vintage A-Frame.

Sunset Lagoon Retreat is located on a private island in the Puget Sound of Washington. Enjoy your own private beach, paddle boat, kayaks, row boat, seafood filled lagoon, & spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains all framed in a different Sunset every evening. This is 20ft Cheyenne Tipi with a separate heated bath hut and small cook hut is located in Lakebay, WA. Views across Puget Sound & Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, deer in the yard and bald eagles soaring above. This is glamping at its finest. When you wake in the morning, for heat you have central heating from a real furnace. Lying in bed you can control lights, Smart TV, and even the google hub. We can add a 4 people tent as well as a ‘pak ‘n play for infants upon request.

Front and back decks with patio sets. Walk in the woods or the two waterfront parks on the island. Basic breakfast, coffee, tea, snacks, condiments and spices are provided.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs for a $50 fee each.

Enjoy a Puget Sound getaway while trying out tiny living. This tiny house is set on a one acre waterfront lot in a rural wooded setting. It has the amenities of home, just in smaller size. Access the beach via our private trail, paddle our kayaks, stargaze from the loft skylight, or hike the woodland trails at the state park close by. 15 mins to downtown Olympia, 8 mins to Lacey.
