The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!

Take the kayaks to go exploring and you may see seals, porpoises, even whales. You'll enjoy two separate living spaces on the one property - the main house and the bungalow. Herron Island is in Case Inlet on Key Peninsula. It's about 3 miles around, and might just be the friendliest place on the planet!

RV parking is also available. The beach is littered with oysters & clams. The expansive deck is ideal for entertaining or enjoying the views from the hot tub. Enjoy kayaking and bird watching while roasting smores around the firepit. 3 kayaks are available. No Pets please.
