Bow Hunting Paradise/Forest Retreat-Arbuckle Lake

Enjoy the beautiful forest view from the large deck & tall living room windows. A gas grill, fire pit, dry sauna, Wi-Fi, and TV (including Netflix) are also available. The house borders the Chickasaw National Recreation Area (CNRA), which allows bow hunting (behind my house) & gun (1 mile north). Boat docks & swimming areas are nearby at Arbuckle Lake. You will be a short drive from local attractions:CNRA, Turner Falls, Arbuckle Wilderness, Chickasaw Cultural Center, and Artesian Casino, & Spa.

We only allow 1 dog for an extra fee & must be leashed when outside ( Neighborhood rules) & crated when alone. MUST BE HOUSEBROKEN! We do not allow any ATVs to be ridden in our neighborhood. Enjoy the spacious covered front porch and cook on the flat top grill. Kayaks can be made available to responsible guests at no cost.

Eclectic décor, local art, and nostalgic touches set the scene in Chickasaw Country, with Lake of the Arbuckles just around the bend. For your enjoyment, we provide ring toss, corn hole, a basketball for the basketball hoop, a hammock, two fire pits, and a hot tub. While the indoor space is comfortable and beautiful, the outdoors has plenty to do both at the cabin and nearby.

This ranch cabin is in the middle of the Arbuckle Mts. A creek is 150 feet from the cabin. A shallow 8 x 10 pool is great for cooling off in the summer. The hot tub is hot fall all year. Trails go through the woods, by the creek and up a mountain to a valley overlook. This is a perfect retreat for nature lovers, not partiers. There is enough to do for a memorable vacation!
