Situated 6 km from Glendalough and surrounded by hiking trails it is the home of artist Patrick Walshe and his wife Rosalind. Set back from a quiet country road, 4km from the villages of Laragh and Rathdrum, 1 hr from Dublin, it is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Enjoy relaxing in the garden also. Own transport needed.

This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Luxury accommodation in a secluded setting. Self contained apartment with 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan kitchen, living and dining area with large open fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and eating including breakfast bar and a washing machine for laundry. Guests have their own separate entrance and there is ample private parking. Nestled in the privacy of our organic farm the off grid hut sits with panoramic views of the Redcross valley down to Brittas Bay and the Irish Sea . The hut is beside a canopy of mature beech trees and on some days the nesting kites will give aerial displays to lift one’s spirits . At night the sky scape is uninterrupted and the stars can almost touch you The dawn breaks over your deck and the setting sun gives you witness to the splendour of the nature surrounding you.
