This apartment is located in a family home, but has a separate entrance, allowing you to enjoy a private experience. This unit has been newly renovated and features a fully accessible walk-in shower, in-suite laundry and kitchen with stovetop, toaster oven and microwave.

Enjoy our art galleries, restaurants and nature walks. Almonte has lots of charm, local history, and friendly people. The space is well suited for fun lovers and business travellers alike. We welcome well behaved pets. Please be sure to include your animal companion when you book.

Private Studio, with no direct interaction with the hosts. About 15 minutes from Gatineau and 20 minutes from Ottawa by car. For an additional fee (and subject to availability), you can access the spa, sauna, and cold plunge pool. A lunchbox breakfast is included. Perfect for workers or tourists. We have 2 dogs and a cat (they do not have access to the studio). The studio is independent, yet attached to the house, and we ask visitors to maintain an appropriate noise level during their stay.

Motherwell House-entire house-countryside stay

Welcome to the historical Perth area. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our rural setting, close to amenities but surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. HST included in our pricing.

We are situated beside a beautiful park where you can sit and relax, walk the trails, play frisbee golf, hit the splash pad and swings, or head down the hill to a park that sits on the edge of the Mississippi River. For cyclists, we are located just off the OVRT. Electric car owner? There is a charging station just 100m from the house.
