This hostel gets loud as we host live events and DJ's on weekends, we are located in the iconic Canmore Hotel built in 1890, rooms are above the turn of the century saloon inspired bar/restaurant. For our friends who are early risers, we suggest ear plugs which are available for $1 in our lobby vending machine. Enjoy the social interaction upstairs in the hostel, mingle and make new friends in the party downstairs. We look forward to hosting wanderers from across the country and the world.

Bed in 4-Bed Female Only Dorm

Samesun Vancouver is located in the Granville Entertainment District, close to shopping, restaurants, bars, clubs and live venues (when we are able to do those again that is), and is well connected via public transport, including to the airport. Walk the Seawall to the many beaches and to Stanley Park, or hop on a short boat ride across to Granville Island. Gastown, the oldest neighbourhood in the city, is a short walk away, as is trendy Yaletown. This room is for FEMALE travellers only.

Private POD (Single) – Whistler Village Centre

These are all found on our Mezzanine level. Aside from needing to skip up a few additional steps to access them, the main difference between these and our other pods is that their associated storage space is across from your pod, not within it. The benefit is that your actual lockable space is far larger than that in all our other pods (which instead of a large lockable cubby have a small lockable cabinet for valuables and a cable-tie to secure your bag). Priced for single occupancy.

We are a small guesthouse with mostly private rooms (although we also have hostel style dorm rooms). We are ideally located on the water in downtown Tofino. We offer clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation with breathtaking views of Clayoquot Sound. Onsite bike rental. Discounts on tours and surf/SUP lessons . Front desk hours: 10AM to 12PM and 5PM to 7PM. Please understand that we are only able to accommodate requests for same day bookings if made before 12PM.

Banff provides the perfect base to explore the beautiful mountains, lakes and wildlife in the area during the day, while allowing you to settle in with a drink on a patio in the evening time. Samesun Banff offers dorms, as well as the Beaver Bar onsite for cheap meals and drinks. We also offer laundry, a large common room and guest kitchen.

Designer POD (Single) – Whistler Village Centre

Our Front-entry pods are all located on our lower (cooler) floors. And while the entrance to our Front-entry pods is smaller than that of our Side-entry ones, making them narrower but longer, the benefit is that once you draw back your curtain you (and your head) are further from ‘the rest of the world’. Other advantages include their longer length and integrated storage. Priced for single occupancy.
