1788 Historic Farmhouse near Hershey

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Find time to enjoy all that the area has to offer or just rest and take in the surroundings! We have trails in the woods nearby and around our meadow that lies in front of the farmhouse. The historic charm of the original two story farmhouse has been restored while still allowing for modern bathrooms and kitchen space. There is a first floor master suite with en suite bath for those who want to avoid the old staircase. Come and enjoy.

Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

One bedroom has Queen size bed, 50” LG Smart TV, Couch, & Chaise lounge. The kitchen has dishwasher a table w/6 chairs and a King Coil Queen size air mattress to accommodate 2 more guest, private room. : Pa Turnpike-7 min. A perfect location to stay! You will be minutes from Hershey and a short drive to Harrisburg, Lancaster and Lititz. Located on route 322 makes it fast and easy to get around. You are in walking distance to laundromat, Brass Rail beverage and restaurant, Sopranos Pizza and Restaurant, Rising Sun restaurant and Bar, Annie's ice cream, A & M pizza, and post office. Grocery store , Chinese restaurant, nail salon, subway subs, and Bank are a short drive around the corner.

This property offers a peaceful country retreat with easy access to Hershey (30 min.), Lancaster (40 min.), Harrisburg (30 min.) and Mt. Gretna (10 min.). Please note: My family lives above the apartment. We aim to be quiet when we have guests, but you may hear sounds of small feet, small voices, etc. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate service animals due to a family allergy.
