Just four quiet blocks to the Washougal River and over 16 miles of gorgeous PNW trails. We both work from home so we have the best fiber internet available. We're pretty quiet except when we are in the attached stained glass studio or laughing together. We welcome everyone, LGBTQ, traveling nurses, or anyone who wants to explore the Portland area.

One bedroom has a K bed and the other is an office space with a trundle bed that can be set up as a T or K and a Q plug-in air mattress. Nothing but peacefulness at our Hidden Gem Acres yet only 10 minutes from stores, breweries, and restaurants. Many outdoor activities in the Gorge area & X-Cross. All neighbors border us by 5 acres. Enjoy the local deer, bunnies & birds. We have an equine facility with 2 of our own horses & boarders. Our friendly Australian Cattle Dog 'Buddy' will on occasion greet you. As this is our home & private sanctuary if you are expecting visitors please ask us for approval.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

There is also one step in the bathroom up to the toilet and bathtub/Shower combo.
