Have a cup of coffee and a smore out back at the fire pit. Holiday weekends: Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day 3 day minimum stay.

Poplar Cove Retreat is a nature lover's paradise! Whether your interest is flowers, trees, birds, or rocks, you'll find it all in abundance. The house is located on our 80+ acre family farm where black angus cattle also reside. You may also spot deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. There are numerous bird feeders so you can enjoy birdwatching from several outdoor seating areas. The property is filled with paths through wildflower gardens and has expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

All rooms have a view of the lake and the deck overlooks Dale Hollow. We are a mile from Wolf River Boat Dock. The suite is downstairs with a private entrance. There are walking paths that encompasses 3 acres on the property. The private deck has a fire pit for chilly mornings to enjoy coffee or relaxing evening. All bookings require copies of driver’s licenses for adult guests, a signed rental agreement, and a $500 security deposit hold. Limited propane provided. No Lake Access From The House.

After a day on the lake, you can unwind on the deck (seasonal lake views), sip a drink by the firepit or grill up burgers!
