A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

The Cabin

Whimsical cabin in the woods! This tiny house is 288 square feet on one floor. It has a queen size murphy "bed in a box." It boasts a full size bathroom and kitchen. Like many rural tiny homes, the unit is equipped with a composting toilet. As an option there is also a portable toilet adjacent to the cabin. Nestled in the foothills of the Tillamook Forest, the cabin is on a beautifully forested property with gardens, decks, trails, etc. A private drive & ample parking round out the amenities.

Our surf style cabin may be small, but the large windows with views of the bay, ocean and coastal forests allow for lots of light to flood the space. Just a short walk to the beach, shops and near some of Northern Oregon’s best surf breaks. Enjoy foggy mornings in the hot tub, adventure during the day and spend sunsets by the fire pit or on our large deck. Welcome to Laurel house! We are located just blocks from Pacific University and 3 blocks from the Grand Lodge. Some easy outings could be to Portland, the Oregon coast, or to the many local brew pubs, and 7 wineries within 5 miles. Our guests have use of the main space including: a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a full bath with a jetted tub, and open living space. Amenities: WiFi, TV, work space, the front yard, patio, and one off street parking space, additional street parking is available.

Studio in Wine Country

Our farmhouse is in a quiet rural setting. Public transportation is not available. Uber and Lyft service the area. Wineries, the city of Forest Grove and Pacific University are with in a few minutes drive. It is 50 minutes to the beach and 30 minutes to Portland. The studio is located in the basement of our home and has a private entrance. The accommodations include a queen bed, a twin hide-a-bed, sitting area, studio kitchen and full bath.
