Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Buckel Lodge features 4,000 sq ft of living space. Five very large bedrooms , 2 handicap accessible bathrooms, seating for 24 people! Kitchen comes fully furnished with all the items you should need to make those family meals! Within walking distance to River, Park, Swimming Pool, Downtown Burwell and about 7 miles to Calamus Lake! Minimum age to rent our cabins is 28 years old. Must provide a photo ID for proof of age.

This 2 bedroom, 1 bath western themed home is ready to welcome you with warmth. The Cowboy Getaway is a rustic, yet modern home with a sofa table workspace, usb plugs, locally roasted coffee, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, & incredibly comfortable mattresses for a fabulous night's sleep. With wifi, Roku on the TV, books, playing cards & more, you're able to choose how you relax after a long day of traveling, a day at the Calamus, or a rainy day of vacation. The Nest

The Nest is an upstairs mini apartment in a building on a working bison ranch. The decor is birds, flowers, nature. The windows look out over the pastures. The bathroom features a shower and small clothes washer. The kitchenette area includes hot drink dispenser, microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge. A cot and portable crib are available on request. Breakfast snacks and coffee are included in the room rate. Covid concerns: you will be the only occupants in the building overnight.

Located on a large lot to accommodate outdoor activities, including a fire pit. The park, Nebraska's Big Rodeo, and the town square (where there several dining options) are all within walking distance. The area's main attraction Calamus Reservoir is a short 7 mile drive, offering fun for the entire family.

Wagner Cabin North

Enjoy a relaxing stay with family and friends at the Wagner Cabins, a family-owned small working ranch in the secluded Calamus, Nebraska area. Our cabins are nestled along the North Loup River and just minutes from the Calamus Reservoir. A large pond with excellent fishing is just a stone’s throw from the cabin porches. Bald eagles, prairie chickens, and a plethora of other species to observe will be waiting out your window. Star-gazers will find our night skies free of light pollution. Nature awaits!
