Kevin built our barn a while back. Airbnb didn't exist and we were excited to be starting a goat dairy. Now the kitchen sits where we used to milk our sweet goats by hand! Kevin, a woodworker has created a work of art. Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Come experience this piece of history and make some memories of your own.

Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... The cottage is a separate unit with a private entrance. 400 square feet with a bathroom, kitchenette, heart of pine antique floors. We are two miles from the Grove Park Inn and four miles from the Biltmore house. The space is appropriate for two adults or one adult and one child.
