Handmake your own silver ring
You will join me in my workshop in the heart of Old Bruges and learn to handmake your own sterling silver ring. During our time you will have hands on experience of forging, shaping and finishing your own silver ring. First you will choose which finger you would like the ring for, measure your silver and cut to size using a handsaw. Next you will choose from a wide selection of hand stamps to add a custom message onto the inside of the ring. This could be a name, date or your favourite beer! You will learn how to hammer the silver into a ring shape using mallets and a triblet. I will then heat and solder your ring while explaining the process of heating and joining silver together. Next I will show you how to add textures and markings to your ring. This is your unique ring and your time to really show your creative side! The last step will be to choose the finish and polish; this could be highly polished to add some sparkle, a satin finish or even a rough forged look to your ring. Finally you will have your own silver ring to keep, handmade by you in the Heart of Old Bruges, a fabulous and unique way to remember your trip to our magical city. Other things to note No previous experience of jewellery tools or working with silver is needed to enjoy the workshop and make a ring. We will use 925 sterling silver for your ring. Belgian Chocolate Workshop / Hands on Activity
!! Activity in English !! After a short but super useful introduction, we will split into teams of 2 or 3 and start to temper the chocolate - in order to make it shiny and snappy! Each participant will be working with its own mold and will have to make its own chocolate shells (up to 21 per person!) then we will be cooking all together the praline filling ( milk/dark chocolate ganache - vegan & dairy free alternatives are available -) before working on mendiants. You will have the possibility to make from 5 to 15 or even 20 mendiants per person, depending on how motivated you're feeling! Following that step, you will be piping the filling inside your own shells and covering them of nice liquid chocolate, a delish! While we wait for the chocolate to harden, you will be invited to taste some real, good, hot chocolate and ask any question about chocolate making or the city of Brussels. Before each step, there will be a demonstration, so you know exactly what to do and what you have to get to! I usually write down all the recipe on the table, feel free to take a picture of them for your own records. After 2.5h you will have learned some essential chocolate making techniques, master the chocolate crystallizing process and leave the workshop with a nice golden box filled up of 35+ of your very own delicious Belgian chocolates. Whether you decide to share them or no....Enjoy!

Belgian Beer Tasting in Private Bar
In ENGLISH only (not in French) - we sample 5 beers and talk about beer in general & in Belgium - duration: 75 minutes, you can join the Pub Crawl afterwards if you want to continue the night in style! The whole activity takes place at a private bar in the center of Brussels. The bar was abandoned and after much re-furbishing its now a private venue where I organize this beer experience. After some quick intro and get together, we will learn the proper way to taste a beer then go straight into practice! For each beer, every participant will have the chance to give her / his opinion and we will move on to some more technical details. Every step and technical aspect of the tasting will be illustrated by the tasting of a local Belgian Beer (12cl each, included in the fee). This is not a boring presentation but much more a fun moment to be shared with people you don't know (yet!) and a great way to start the night or end your day. Other things to note This is a beginner level tasting class, suitable for people that "don't like beer" You can combine this experience with the Pub Crawl ( https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/1518361 )

Vintage and second-hand tour in the centre of Brussels
We walk the streets of Brussels in search of vintage and second-hand gems. What? This experience is more than a normal tour of Brussels, because it is also an introductory tour of the sustainable fashion industry. In fact, I will guide you through the centre of Brussels and during the tour I will share with you fun facts about the different districts and take you to some of its most special and hidden shops. Where? We will pass through the areas of Les Marolles, Grand Place and St Catherine. At the end of the tour, I will give you a brochure with a list of other vintage and second-hand shops to visit in different parts of Brussels. Why? Fashion is one of the most polluting industries in the world and currently contributes 10% of the annual carbon emissions (more than all international flights and shipping combined). Moreover, faced with cases of underpayment and unsafe working conditions common in the fast fashion industry, discovering vintage and second-hand shops can become a practice to support not only environmental sustainability, but also a human sustainability of social justice. When? Every Saturday and Sunday morning (different dates are available on request). Contact me at grazioliaurora@gmail.com
Origins & behind the scenes of Brussels
Looking for a real local experience, just a few steps away from the touristy crowds and the city center? Come with me to discover the alternative side of Brussels! Let's visit up and coming neighborhoods with industrial vibes where hip locals live. This experience offers you a look into what the real Brussels is about: multicultural, vibrant and with tons of cool things to offer. This experience will take you to the birthplace of the city, Place Saint-Géry, where we can still see the old river Senne. We'll also visit the modern Saint-Cathérine hamlet. What used to be the former harbor, nowadays is a very lively area with restaurants and bars in historical buildings. But if there's an area in the city that you shouldn't skip, it's the up and coming canal area! Once an industrial area, it has rapidly changed over the last few years into a multicultural place with active artists, families and young students. Let me show you around this vibrant area!

Tous les outils et matériaux sont mis à votre dispositions et compris dans le prix. Vous n'avez pas besoin de prérequis pour participer. La méthode est simple et facile à acquérir. Des chaussures fermées sont nécessaires. Brussels through its comics murals - Tintin, Asterix, Smurfs
As you might not know Belgium is not only famous for its waffles, beers and chocolate but also for being the cradle of the 9th Art : comics (known as "bande dessinée -BD" in French). Never heard of Tintin, The Smurfs, Lucky Luke, Astérix, ... ? To commemorate the link between Belgium and comics, 50ish murals have been painted throughout Brussels' center since the 90's (and a few more a bit outside of it). So together we will discover Brussels’ center throughout the visit of some of those comics murals/paintings. I will give you some short explanations on each of them and will answer your questions if you are curious on the subject. Of course there will be many other points of attention along the way like buildings, squares, and street art. If interested I can also give you my inner opinion and some tips for your next visits (bars, restaurants, museums...) . As the tour is not a 5 hours tour, please don't expect to see all the comics murals that are quite widespread in the city and to receive long historical explanations on each buildings that we will encounter. It's not a historical tour, others do that better than I could :-) The point of this experience is to discover a part of Belgian comics culture/history and to show you -through a selection of comics murals- some streets and neighborhoods you probably would not have visited on your own...
