Our cottage has a wood burning stove, which keeps you cosy on winter evenings. Situated right by Trawsfynydd lake, with amazing views. If peace and tranquility is what you are looking for then this is the perfect spot for you. Sorry no pets. And no swimming or inflatables allowed on Trawsfynydd lake as it’s primarily a fishing lake. Great cycle and footpath round the lake for any one wanting to get out. We are situated inside the snowdonia national park so plenty of places to visit close by.

Surrounded by mountains, rivers, and waterfalls, Tan Yr Allt is a very pretty welsh longhouse, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom property located in the Snowdonia national park. The house sleeps 8 plus 2 children in 2 king size, 1 quad room (2 doubles) and a small double bedroom. Enjoying an elevated position with outstanding views, the house has been lovingly resorted whilst retaining many original features including exposed beams and original slate floors.

Detached cottage in secluded spot within Eryri national park. Accessed via private track with parking for 2 standard vehicles. Enjoy stunning views and sunsets from the back garden across Eryri, Afon Dwyryd estuary, Port Meirion, Bae Ceredigion, and LLyn Peninsula. Essential amenities found in nearby Porthmadog (10mins drive). Full refurbishment completed in 2024 featuring log burner and new modern kitchen and bathroom. Fenced garden, dog friendly and an outdoor warm dog wash!

It's near beautiful woodland walks, castles, world famous bike tracks, zip wires, the 'Bounce Below' trampolining adventure, steam trains, award winning ice-cream and fabulous beaches. It's close to a main road for easy access all year.

The Old School - Snowdonia

The Old School is a cosy yet spacious home from home with plenty of room for large groups. Situated on the A470 between Dolgellau and Porthmadog the location is perfect for exploring all Snowdonia has to offer. The front of the house offers wonderful mountain views with farmland to the rear. Some of North Wales’ best mountain bike trails are less than 5miles away at Coed y Brenin, with Snowdon, Cadair Idris, Zipworld, beautiful beaches and much more all within an hour’s drive.

Or exploring forests, hills, valleys, mountains, historic castles, quaint villages and the beautiful beaches nearby. Or simply to enjoy an escape from the city gaze at the dark night sky.
