Take a break & unwind at this peaceful cottage on 18 acres. This 2 bedroom getaway has just been completely remodeled. Take walks thru the meadow or the lovely woods. Relax in the large swing with your favorite book. Enjoy smores at the large firepit (firewood provided). Or enjoy the spacious living room and stream your favorite shows on the 72" TV. Both Bedrooms have TV's as well. Prepare your own meals in our well stocked kitchen and enjoy your meal inside or out at the picnic or cafe table.

Canoe and kayak rentals available nearby or bring your own and take them out on my riverfront property. Walk or ride your bike on the rails to trails 3 mile walkway to Foxburg or go much further on other trails in Emlenton. Explore my 39 acres of woods with deer, fox, wild turkeys, bear, etc. Explore the four old logging paths.

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

“Retreat On The Farm” Visiting for a wedding, family reunion or a relaxing getaway! Visit Western PA for the NFL DRAFT DAYS, short drive from the city. Beautiful views regardless of the season. Spring is the perfect season to enjoy the serene environment of the retreat. The view of the farm fields and valley are coming alive! Relax in the hottub and an occasional siting of a soaring eagle is quite possible. Our newly remodeled home is located at the top corner of our ‘working’ farm.

Sweet Solitude

Visit this tiny rural cabin. Now is prime birdwatching season! Bring binoculars. Excellent neighbors, but none in sight. 🙂 Sometimes we just want to be alone. Sweet Solitude is a private place to focus on what's really most important, especially for couples. Our cabin locally sourced. The timbers were sawed at a local hemlock mill. The exterior is made of boards we had milled from old pines along US Hwy 322. Even the stones we laid for the fireplace once splashed in a local creek.
