The Tower

The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. ‘Woodside’ is a cosy self-contained 1 bedroomed holiday home nestled within the Nottinghamshire countryside, surrounded by open fields and 25 acres of mature woodland, ideal for a romantic getaway. We are located in a peaceful rural location right on the door step of Sherwood Forest, Robin hood country. Century House - Thoresby Estate

Century House is situated just outside the entirely private and gated Estate village of Perlethorpe, situated at the heart of Thoresby Estate. Thoresby was one of the four country Ducal Estates which gave the nickname Dukeries to the area due to the high number of Dukes who lived in the area, and is still owned by the Pierrepont family today. Century House was built in 19th Century and was traditionally home to the Estate Land Agent with the last Agent leaving in 2019.
