Our home is down a hidden lane, on the outskirts of Aberystwyth, an easy walk to the University and Arts Centre. It is a haven of tranquility, with a large, quirky garden. The guest room is very private, with a comfortable double bed, en-suite WC & washbasin, hospitality tray. Shower in main bathroom. Ideal for couples looking for a quiet, convenient and reasonably priced place to stay while visiting Aberystwyth, the town is a 20 minute walk down the hill. Strictly no smoking! No late revellers.
We are told that few self-catering holiday cottages offer such comfort, complete peace and a sense of retreat from our fast-paced world for those who love to escape and enjoy a deep cleaned safe environment. This dog friendly holiday cottage in mid-west Wales is set on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains in a breathtaking location, as seen in the ‘Hinterland’ TV series. For those looking for adventure and self-catering holidays in Wales there are endless beautiful walks for children, adults and dogs alike. A narrow gauge steam railway is nearby; swimming, dolphin spotting, Red Kite feeding and bird watching, mountain biking, fly fishing, horse riding and viewing historic mines are amongst the attractions local to the holiday cottages. Of course the internet is unlimited for those who need it! While the cottage is pet and dog friendly, owners are encouraged to read the relevant FAQs on Welsh Hideaways website to ensure their dog’s holiday needs will be met too! During the Covid pandemic, the cottage is deep cleaned prior to each letting and we prevent re-booking by another on your day of departure to ensure there is time for thorough cleansing. Full details are in FAQ of Welsh Hideaways website.
“Penroc laget en veldig koselig, komfortabel og fredelig base for noen dagers vandring i Elan-dalen. Sengen er nydelig og fast, utsikt over den mørke himmelen fra balkongen er fantastisk, og hytta er veldig godt utstyrt hvis du ønsker å imøtekomme. Jeg tilbrakte hver kveld på å se på stjernene fra vindussetet, og vil savne det.”
