Recently renovated, our stylish, open plan barn conversion is set in the idyllic rural landscape of County Clare. It adjoins our 150 year old stone farmhouse, and offers a self-contained holiday space ideal for those who like peace and quiet 'off the beaten track'. The clever use of space means you have your own kitchen, dining and sleeping area with a small en suite shower/toilet and the living space includes a unique Bluthner grand piano for the musically minded!
The Milking Parlour, Magherabaun is based in a beautiful rural setting, bordered by a stream and open fields but still close to the amenities of Feakle. Based on the East Clare Walk, there is plenty to explore in the area, from the Wild Atlantic Way, the Burren to Lough Derg and Lough Graney for water based activity enthusiasts. We can provide free range eggs from our small flock of chickens and you may see our cheeky Terrier x Rogan and Wisp, our resident cat.
This little wooden house in the middle of the Clare Mountains is the perfect getaway for one or two nature loving people. You are surrounded by peace and tranquillity, beautiful hiking routes are at your door step and the beautiful medieval town of Killaloe on the shores of the Shannon and Lough Derg is only a short drive away. Inside this private hideout there is one bedroom and a small bathroom with shower and toilet. A shared kitchen and living room are in the main house.
