Weathered wood, natural textures, and warm details give the cabin its rustic charm, while cozy comforts create a welcoming atmosphere. Here, rustic blends seamlessly with modern, offering the perfect balance to find rest and relaxation.

The Carriage House Suites - the South Suite

Welcome to the Carriage House Suites located on the edge of beautiful Blyth Ontario. The suites are next to the historical former Grand Trunk Railway Station that is converted into a home. There is so much to do in Blyth and surrounding area, from dining, live theatre, a craft brewery, to shopping, and beautiful trails. The suites are a short twenty minute drive to the beaches of Lake Huron. There are two suites available, the South Suite and the North Suite. The suites are listed separately.

We are mere footsteps away from the Huron County Museum, the historic Gaol and the Square. A short walk or drive will take you to the beach, restaurants, shopping, recreation trails and other hidden gems in the prettiest town in Canada. Whether you are visiting the area for a few nights, a week, or even here on business you will find our tiny home will meet your needs.

The Byre Cabin at Grassroots Farm

The Byre is old English for 'the barn'. Our hand-built cabin comfortably sleeps two in an open concept main floor bedroom. Floor to ceiling windows allow you to enjoy field, orchard and pasture views! You'll also enjoy an indoor fireplace to keep you cozy in the colder months and an outdoor campfire to roast marshmallows on summer nights! The kitchen is well suited for light cooking. The bathroom features a rain shower and hot water. Magical string lights make your getaway extra special!
