Centrally located, it is a short drive to Winterplace Ski Resort, Hatfield McCoy Trail, Pipestem State Park, New River and Bluestone River. An EV charging station is 1/2 mile away. A couple’s get away, traveling for business, or family vacay, our cabin is perfect. We strive to make every guest as comfortable as possible!

Two Bicycles can be found in the shed to take a ride to the park along with two kayaks (take them to spend the day at bluestone lake only a 13 minute drive) .Winterplace is only 30 miles away. Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.
