Property is a retreat center landscaped with gardens, flower beds and shaded decks. Nestled in the trees bordering national forest. Great hiking and biking trails outside our door. 10 minutes to Taos ski valley. 20 minutes to Taos plaza. Must be comfortable heating with wood stove, off grid water system, and sharing a bath house. AWD/4WD may be necessary if it snows.

We are a collection of 8 sweet, unique Casitas set on a shady, serene acre on Brooks Street in the Historic District. Poppy is a Studio w/ its own entrance and is part of the building that houses our caretakers. It's a Victorian-style bedroom w/ private bath: perfect for the single traveler looking for value or as a romantic getaway for a couple. Poppy comes w/ a mini-fridge, a microwave, & coffee maker & a comfy queen . Because its 350 sq ft., we can host 2. Plus 1 small dog - for a fee.

NOT sure what that means (maybe their beds are on the floor) PLEASE I have a fan to drawn off Noise from upstairs ALL ground level units get noise from upstairs USE THE FAN Gas fireplace is turned off June July and August I do not have AC but the bedroom has a ceiling fan and a box fan. This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!

It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.
