Relax and unwind in this artist-run bohemian retreat. Tucked away in the village of Preston, surrounded by orchards, you'll enjoy a peaceful 'get-away' yet be in easy reach of local amenities and Kent's stunning coastline. The studio is blissfully quiet, set back from the cottage with its own entrance under a vine-covered pergola, with access to a large garden. Your host is happy to interact as much or as little as you like, and will gladly share the best experiences the area has to offer.
The Hangar is a private self contained space built onto our house, so-called because although it is modern, the houses in the area are built on what used to be a World War Two aerodrome where Spitfires would take off to fly across the English Channel. The Battle of Britain Museum is very close by and well worth a visit. The space has a double bedroom and small lounge area with a spare double sofa bed if needed. The new bathroom has a very relaxing power shower. Private patio area is included.
*We use a hospital-grade UV-C light in our accommodation to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses (including Covid-19)* Entire top floor bedroom with en suite. A double and single bed as standard with plenty of room left over. A folding bed is available if booking for 4 people, perfect for families! We also offer a light continental breakfast box! Dover ferry port is a short 15 minute drive away. EuroTunnel is a 20 minute drive away and Eurostar terminal at Ashford International is 40 minutes.
