Prairie Hollow Hideaway is a charming log cabin located approximately 1 mile from both the Current and Jacks Fork rivers. The cabin is nestled on the edge of Prairie Hollow Creek, an intermittent creek, surrounded by 5 acres of open fields and woodlands. It offers a remote and peaceful experience free from distractions, with 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen. Whether visiting the area to float, sight-see, hike or hunt, this cabin is the perfect relaxing getaway.
Our primitive cabin sets at the edge of pristine Little Pine Creek which is fed by the largest spring in Howell County. The sounds of bubbling water, birds singing, and an occasional UAC (Unidentified Animal Call) are all you'll hear in this utterly private setting in the woods. In case you're not sure of the meaning of "primitive", that means no electricity, no plumbing. A fire pit, wood stove (wood provided), and outhouse complete your old-fashion camping adventure!
Summerside offers a quiet, private apartment overlooking a tranquil Ozark stream. We are located 1/4 mile south from Eminence's restaurants and shops and less than a 1/2 mile from the Jacks Fork River. Our open concept rental sleeps 5 comfortably. We offer Ozark hospitality to all of our guests but are respectful of your privacy. Since we do not allow pets we do have plenty of birds, chipmunks, and squirrels to watch to fill the pet void during your visit. Sorry no exceptions.
