The cabin is so secluded you can go all day without seeing another car drive by. There is a boat ramp around the corner. Plenty of activities on the property including a paddle boat, horseshoes and fishing. No Wi-Fi but good cell phone service/hotspot. There are restaurants close to cabin and only 20 miles from the historical town of Jefferson.

Sunset Cabin

Private country atmosphere in city located on 7 acres. Lots of large pine and oak trees, birds, and catch and release from onsite pond. Plenty of room for horse or boat trailers to park. 5 to 10 minutes from restaurants and stores if your not in mood to cook. Daily pet fee $10.00 per day per pet due check in 2pets. 30 lb. limit unless you talk with us first. NO CATS. You will need to provide animal crate if pet is left alone in cabin. After 10PM inquires will be answered the next morning

Emerald Cottage- Lake front & kayaks & HGTV!

Emerald Cottage was featured on HGTV's House Hunters in October 2023! The Cottage is a 2 bedroom (queen bed), 1 bath with a quaint sun porch (bedroom 2) which provides ceiling to floor windows, has a daybed with trundle which sleeps 2, and a beautiful water view. The living room couch makes out into small a bed. Bathroom has large Calcatta marble shower and a full sized washer & dryer are included as well! 5 CABINS AVAILABLE: We can sleep 34 in beds! The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
