A charming Welsh cottage 1.6 miles from the picturesque village of Berriew. Lovingly curated with your comfort in mind to give you that feeling of a home from home. Perfectly located to explore the beautiful countryside of Montgomeryshire & the Shropshire borders, equally well placed as a midway base to head South for the fantastic Pembrokshire coastline; North to the rugged scenery of Snowdonia; or west with more stunning coastline, nature reserves & medieval structures less than an hour away.

The Old Barn, Lower Luggy

Lower Luggy Barn offers a unique space to spend a relaxing weekend in the unspoilt and largely undiscovered countryside of Mid Wales. It boasts a wealth of opportunities from Walking, Cycling, Castles, Canals, Shooting & Fishing, Sailing and Fine Dining. We are within an hour of both Snowdonia National Park with all it has to offer, and the Beautiful Welsh Coastline. The Barn is comfortable, self-contained and accommodates 6 people, an ideal place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

Spacious rural annex boasting beautiful views.

Beautiful well equipped annex attached to the owner's house in the lovely rural village of Castle Caereinion near Welshpool. The village has a pub, church and a small playground. The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and anyone wanting some relaxation. It is local to many places of interest and about an hour from the coast. The upstairs living room can be accessed by stairlift and boasts uninterrupted views of the Welsh countryside.The owners are usually on site should you require anything.

Castlewood Cabin

Set on the edge of a peaceful woodland, with panoramic views across local countryside and beyond. Castlewood Cabin, Caersws, Powys sleeps four guests in two en-suite bedrooms. The cabin consists of a spacious open plan kitchen/diner/living area and separate utility room. Hot tub, where you can relax and soak up the scenic views. Table and seating under front porch. Nearby local shops, garage, pub, train station within ten minutes drive. Upgraded wifi. No smoking, sorry no pets.

Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Gothic Victorian Gate House & Hot Tub Welshpool

This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Sofa bed in living room and single bed via steep stairs.

Garden Cottage a lovely 2 bedroom retreat

Garden Cottage, a cosy rural retreat nestled in the grounds of Rhiewport Hall, a beautiful Georgian Hall currently being restored to its original glory. The cottage has a private drive and parking. It is surrounded by amazing views of the Welsh countryside. With 2 bedrooms, a double bed in the master bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. The kitchen offers you the facilities to cook up a storm . A private garden with a patio looks out onto the estates working Walled Garden.

Stabal y Nant

Located amongst the picturesque Mid Wales countryside, just northwest of Welshpool, Stabal y Nant Cottage offers a charming and luxurious holiday retreat for up to 4 people, with a cosy living room and kitchen area downstairs, and double bedroom and twin beds upstairs. Hollybush Cottage is full of character with a garden and stream. It is surrounded by woodland and is 100m from Offa’s Dyke path with access to miles of beautiful walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid Wales. It Sleeps 4, there is a kingsize bed and two singles in the second bedroom. Recently refurbished throughout with a new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The sitting room has a log burner and QLED TV. Super fast fibre broadband throughout.

Delightful secluded Shepherds' hut in Berriew

Sitting comfortably, in the wild meadow, above Upper Rectory is our delightful shepherd’s hut, well equipped for your arrival - idyllically located overlooking tranquil pastures and woodland, it, provides a cosy romantic and welcoming retreat, with a traditional wood burner to warm up the evenings. Ideal for walking and cycling, nearby nature reserve is home to 170 species of birds. Please note that WiFi is at best sporadic due to the rural location.
