Modern annex with separate entrance to the main house. Located in the heart of Bembridge village with a 7 minute walk to the beach and the shops, which include a superior bakery and fish shop. The upstairs accommodation has a bedroom with king size bed, sitting room with a large table together with a fridge, kettle and toaster. There are no cooking facilities. The shower room with toilet is on the ground floor. Good Wi-Fi. No Pets and ample parking. Up to 35% off ferries, discounts possible.

Fisherman’s Rest - a local Fisherman’s Cottage

The good news is that we can now offer guests ferry travel discounts, full details available in host booking confirmation sent. Bembridge is a lovely coastal village on the eastern tip of the Isle of Wight, surrounded by beaches a quirky harbour with working fishing boats. The village has a real sense of community with a village hall for events, a butchers, bakers, fishmongers, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The Bembridge RNLI Lifeboat reinforces the respect the village has for its history.

Princessa Cottage, Bembridge

Princessa Cottage is a welcoming and cosy Victorian terraced cottage, which used to be the Coastguard Station. It is in a great location just two minutes walk from the beach, with a local Welcome store that provides everything you forgot just down the road and open all hours. Forelands beach is a beautiful, rugged beach, used by wind and kite surfers, with rock pools and shallow water at low tide for children to play in. There is an exceptional beach café. It is dog friendly all year round.

Unique English Heritage Escape in *Bembridge* IOW

'The Annexe' forms part of the main residence built on the old parade ground of Steyne Wood Battery. The Battery was built on the eastern coastline of the Isle of Wight and became a scheduled monument in 2015, being one of the best surviving Victorian Batteries and, as such, all the bomb proof shelters, ammunition stores, gun positions and defensive structures in the surrounding grounds remain intact. The grounds around the property provide a peaceful escape in beautiful surrounds.
