An Ozark Oasis in the middle of a working cattle ranch, this custom designed home offers deluxe comfort. With multiple decks, porches and views out every window, this home is the perfect getaway for romantic retreats, family and friends to relax and make memories, artists and writers to host workshops or retreats, or even the single person to just get away from it all. You’ll stay a short drive from surrounding sites, including Millstream Gardens Conservation Area, Castor River Shut-ins, Elephant Rocks State Park, Johnson Shut-Ins State Park, Marble Creek Recreation Area, and Taum Sauk Mountain. Bring your fishing pole and kayak! End your day relaxing by the fire pit and watching the sunset on the lake

Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

This quaint cozy cabin offers a retreat from life's hustle and bustle with breathtaking views and a serene environment. With a secluded lake out the back door and two fire pits for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, there are plenty of outdoor activities without even leaving the property. Of course, there is always more to explore in the area as well; including the Black River, which is just a short hike away.
