Spectacular Mountain Retreat

Cottage is the guest house of our country home. Situated on a mountain with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge and access to many hiking trails; biking; fishing and swimming in private pond only steps from the door. Cottage is located within easy driving distance of multiple wineries, Sky Line Drive and Shenandoah National Park; Montpelier; and restaurants and shops. We can accommodate no more than one dog, with prior permission. In April 2023, we again upgraded our internet (see below).

A distinctive historic farm and modern home available for an exclusive rental experience. The house was completely restored in 2005 adding a new addition that houses a large modern kitchen, and 3 full baths (over 3,800 sq ft). A top Washington decorator designed the home specifically to create an ideal family/friends active getaway, explore its 110 private acres full of old fashioned activities. Please note that this property is not set up to accommodate weddings or events.

The River House at the Swinging Bridge is a 13 acre property which includes a 2 acre fenced compound ideal for gatherings of families or friends.
