Furry friends are welcome! Our groundfloor farmhouse is located less than 2km from many of Comeragh mountain walking routes Our location makes our home very special, we look directly onto the Comeragh mountains, 5 minutes drive from Kilclooney wood and Coumsingaun lake walk. We are a short drive from Crough woods and Mahon falls. Clonea strand, Bunmahon and Stradbally beaches are a 20 minute drive. After a busy day you can look forward to relaxing at the fire side or outside in nature.

Wiel’s Cottage near The Comeragh Mountains

Take it easy and have a getaway to a cosy 190-year-old cottage in the Irish countryside. The cottage is semi-detached and has its own private outdoor area. The cottage is located in the countryside village of Ballymacarbry which is situated at the foot of the Nire Valley and is perfect for hikers, with beautiful walking paths. Cyclists with the winding roads of the Sean Kelly circuit and walkers with the many woodland trails. The cottage is also a 10 minute drive from the Comeragh Mountains.

The cabin has double glazed windows with central heating, patio doors opening to south facing veranda with patio furniture and private car park. Quiet surrondings with views of the mountains. Romantic Traditional Irish cottage newly renovated to include modern comforts, located in the heart of west Waterford surrounded by the Knockmealdown mountains, the Black Water valley and superb views of the Comeragh mountains. It is an 18 min drive (19km) to the attractive coastal town of Dungarvan. Home to the Waterford Greenway. It is a 18min drive (20km) to the historical town of Lismore. 18 minutes to the Nire Valley where Lake fishing features.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
