The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. Katie’s Fastnet Cabin The stunning seascape changes every day in front of the nautical themed Fastnet Cabin. Relax and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide overlooking Croagh Bay located just inside the iconic Fastnet Lighthouse. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Surrounded by working farms on 4 acres; an oasis of trees and home to a variety of bird life.

Seat View Lodge is a beautiful cottage located in the heart of West Cork. The cottage is newly built with a lovely balance of modern and rustic characteristics. The house has stunning views, a large garden and a spacious interior. The house has everything that you could need for either a weekend getaway or for a long visit. The garden is facing the mountains with a southern aspect so is also a perfect place to simply relax, unwind and soak up the peaceful scenic surroundings .
