A private island to yourself, staying in an original stone walled lodge situated in 150 acres of forest surrounded by lakes which connect to the River Erne in County Cavan. 2 fishing boats included for up to 6 guests. Take in the view of the lakes and the 12th century Trinity Abbey. Enjoy the private walks around the island, following badger/deer trails, listen to the dawn chorus, meditate, read, write, take photographs, fish, take a trip by canoe, boat or float tube. Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name.
