With 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms & one large loft) /2 baths it is the perfect spot for a family or two to enjoy. Whether you enjoy sipping coffee on the deck, sitting by the ocean, or exploring the tide pools by the shore, there are many areas to enjoy. From the 68-foot deck, or from the seawall itself, guests may spot seals leaping for fish, ospreys hurtling to the water’s surface for a catch, and bald eagles soaring above, all against an ever-changing seascape that is stunning in any kind of weather. The house is 8-minutes by car to charming SW Harbor.

The Seamist Cottage - Converted Historic Barn

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking.
