The Black Cabin - Along the Cabot Trail

Nestled on 110 acres, the Black Cabin overlooks Nyanza Bay and Caines Pond along the beautiful world famous Cabot Trail. It’s centrally located on Hunters Mountain, which makes exploring the island a breeze with everything you’d like to experience near. This private home comfortably sleeps 4 people with one bathroom and two bedrooms: one on main level and the other in the spacious loft above the open concept dining area - it's a must experience location. Its cozy atmosphere Is truly unmatched!

The old trail cabin.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Cabot Trail Wilderness Cabin | The Canopy

The Canopy is the 2nd largest of the 3 wilderness cabins, and closest to the washrooms, nestled among the forest which leads down to the waterfront. All the cabins sleep two people, with a personal fire pit, bbq, kitchenette, drinking water (although no running water), and all the amenities needed to spend a few nights in nature. The shared outdoor bathroom has been hand crafted with lots of natural light, a composting toilet (i.e. non-flushing), hot water shower and two sinks.

Welcome to our beautiful cabin located on hwy 4 only 13 min from Sydney River, 5min from the ski hill and benion marina, 1 min from the country market where you can get anything needed including a ice cream sore in summer and small liquor store. If you’re joining us in the summer we are only 1.5min from east bay sand bar an amazing beach and 3min from the walking trails:) complete with fire pit and large back deck.

Comfy cozy cottage centrally located on the gateway to the Cabot Trail, minutes from the Canso Causeway! Situated on a hobby farm, this cozy cottage offers a peaceful setting close to all the highlights Cape Breton has to offer! Clean, fresh and comfy. We have closed for the winter months.
