Please notice that we charge € 10,00 per day as a short stay fee if you stay under 5 nights. Tourism tax is € 2,50 per adult/per day to pay in cash. Alpenhotel Dachstein is located just 12 km from the historic town of Hallstatt, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The neolithic region of Salzkammergut offers a wealth of opportunities for families such as winter sports, cycling trails winding over clear lakes and of course great cuisine. Try, for example, Hallstatt bacon:-)

Our spacious 2nd floor apartment is just 1 km from lift access to the beautiful Dachstein West ski resort and its 140km of slopes and cross country trails. Guests have access to all amenities within the Vital Hotel Gosau, including spa and leisure facilities, bar and restaurant as well as the free ski bus. Ideal base to explore the famous Salzkammergut (lake district) region and its unique attractions, including world heritage site, Hallstatt.
