This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

Kaitake Kabana - Unique Studio Retreat

Escape to the tranquility of Kaitake Kabana, an off-grid studio retreat nestled in the foothills of the Kaitake Ranges. This space is ideal for two, perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway (but can sleep up to 4 people with an extra mattress on the floor if required). The bathroom space and kitchenette are detached from the main living space. There is no wifi here and limited reception, come to embrace the serenity and switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

With parking on the property and a private entrance our guest suite is modern, cosy, relaxing and quiet with thoughtful touches throughout. The location of this modern unit is also only a stone's throw from the beautiful local domain, featuring picturesque woodland walks and a popular swimming hole.

The Little House

Lovely little private cabin in Fitzroy. Newly renovated and consists of a bedroom with King size bed, There is a skylight above the bed equipped with a blockout blind. The Bathroom is en-suite with large rain shower. Cosy lounge area with flat screen TV. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with microwave, toaster and a fridge for your wine and beers! The French doors lead to a decked area overlooking your own garden area where you can relax and unwind.

The Black Yurt

MAX OCCUPANCY 2 Adults & 2 Children under 12 The Black Yurt is situated within Oakura. The surf beach, a number of cafes/restaurants, a pharmacy and a convenience store are within walking distance. Several hiking trails can be found nearby. Accessible via a private staircase, this yurt offers you a comfortable king-size bed, lounge area and kitchenette. The bath and shower are outdoors. A separate small building contains the toilet.

Parkside Studio

Warm, spacious, private self contained studio flat at rear of host's section. 15min walk to city center, 2min walk to Pukekura park and Bowl of Brooklands. Queen bed, separate shower and toilet, basic kitchen facilities (fridge, microwave, bench top oven and hotplate). On street parking. Owners are long time surfers,motorcyclist,and life long residents so can advise on many activities.

Ruru Retreat
