Today, with respect for that past, it has been transformed into a cozy holiday home that is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. In addition, the enthusiastic hosts Christel and Willy are ready to give you a warm welcome. They are happy to assist you and gladly share their favorite spots and tips to help you discover beautiful Peer and the surrounding area to the fullest. De Wachtkamer combines comfort, hospitality, and a unique story in a place where you immediately feel at home.

Ideally located in "West-Brabant", 45 min from the beaches of Zeeland, 30 min from Rotterdam and Antwerp and 20 min from Breda. You will enjoy our house because of the athmospheren, the light, garden, neighbourhood and comformtable beds. My house is suitable for couples, business travellers, groups of friends and families. This special house is located in the centre of the village within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of the Merksplas municipality. The municipality is renowned for its 600-hectare historic cultural landscape, part of a unique ensemble of social colonies including Wortel (Hoogstraten), recognised by UNESCO, on the Dutch border. As of 1 April 2026, a tourist tax is mandatory. The tax amounts to €2 per adult (18+) per night, is not included in the price, and is payable on site.

Onze vakantievilla biedt alles voor een onvergetelijke vakantie. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien en beschikt o.a. over een overkapping met zitgedeelte en een vuurpot. Voor de kinderen is er volop speelplezier met een eigen voetbalveld, een speelhuisje met glijbaan en een trampoline. Op het vakantiepark zijn er diverse faciliteiten zoals een restaurant, een zwembad (geopend medio mei tot september), een midgetgolfbaan en tennisbanen. Alles is aanwezig voor een perfecte vakantie!

Zowel binnen- als buitenshuis is elk moment in De Zandberg er een van puur genot en ontspanning, niet op z’n minst door de mooie, grote tuin die de villa omringt en het prachtige terras waar het heerlijk vertoeven is.

Verblijf 'Denenhof' in landschapspark de Merode

Voor wie rust en mooie natuur zoekt, maar eveneens goede ligging voor verkenning van de regio. Vanuit ons verblijf wandel je zo de natuur van het Provinciaal Groendomein Hertberg in, tot 2004 eigendom van de prins de Merode. Goede verbinding met autostrades naar Antwerpen, Brussel, Leuven, Hasselt... Werchter, Graspop, Reggaegeel, Historalia bereikbaar Gastvrije eigenaars (geschakelde woning) kunnen op uw vraag tips geven. Privacy wordt gerespecteerd.

This Lodge is located at the ''Grenspark de Kalmthoutse Heide'' and at 25 km from Antwerpen. Shops and trainstation are on walking distance in Kalmthout-Heide and famous park ''Arboretum'' is just around the corner. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Its an ideal spot to start your hike, cycle or train trips. Lots of space around the house and possibility to park your car inside the secured fence of the terrain.

Are you eager to stay in nature and to discover the national park Kalmthoutse Heide ? Then you are here at the right spot ! You can walk directly into the park or start cycling from here to the nice landscapes of the Kempen, Zeeland, ...
