Storybook Castle BnB

Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

Our favorite thing about the neighborhood is the live oak trees that sweep across Government Street along with all of the stringed lights at various houses nearby. The Cottage is located on Seales Farm- a working cattle farm with views of pastures, grazing horses and some unusual sounds (guineas and lowing cattle.) This pastoral and rustic setting offers solitude- NO TV and NO WiFi . - There is a private outdoor seating area with a great view. We are a little more than an hour from Pensacola Beach, Fl. which boasts historical Fort Pickens and 75 miles from Gulf Shores, AL. Wind Creek Casino just 20 minutes away.
