Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

Amazing two-story house nestled high up in the trees. A true treehouse! This treehouse sits amongst a forest of poplar trees and feels very secluded and private. It has spectacular views of Kentucky’s rolling hills as it looks out across the valley. This treehouse was hand built and handcrafted with love and attention to detail. Located just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).

A one of a kind farmstead experience, stay in a newly constructed barn on our 350 acre dairy farm. The Mattingly farm is home to Kenny's Cheese, farmstead cheese made right here on our farm and you have a unique opportunity to stay in the heart of the action, in our brand new apartments directly above the dairy barn. You will be welcomed by our friendly dairy cows and possibly a new baby calf, or two. And because our cheese is AMAZING, we will leave some in the fridge for you to try.

The perfect place to get away... Come stay in our cabin nestled in the woods overlooking Nolin Lake. Minutes from Nolin River Dam, relax in this three bedroom, three and half bath log cabin. There is plenty of outdoor space, as well, with a wraparound porch and deck, gas grill, and a fire pit. This is a 5 acre wooded area at the end of the road, behind a private iron security-coded gate. Stay here, "away from it all" and yet close to Mammoth Cave, Blue Holler ATV park, and Nolin lake.

Farm animals and free range chickens add a rural flavor that appeals to adults and children alike. Close to town. NO PETS and NO SMOKING.

You may see wildlife on property. It is in close proximity of the Corvette Museum, Lost River Cave, Barren River Lake, Mammoth Cave, and Nashville. You may just decide to stay in and enjoy the view and county side. Great for families and also traveling health care professionals.
