Dimitrios Residence Old Town Rethymno

Dimitrios Residence is a 3-storey house which combines elegantly modern design with the quaintness of the old city, creating an atmosphere of romance, serenity and relaxation. A recently fully-restored house ( February 2020), beautifully decorated and conveniently located, literally in the heart of the old town, steps away from the city's most well- known restaurants, shops, cafés and bars and within walking distance of the imposing Fortezza Fortress and the magnificent Venetian Harbour.

The Cretan traditional culture is the heart of the design’s house which is combined with a modern style. Houses in Atsipopoulo were constructed in close distance so as to form a fortification wall. This way the inhabitants were protected by pirates and other enemies. This traditional architecture is preserved till today as most houses were renovated.
