Seven Oaks Cabin

I welcome you to Seven Oaks Cabin. It is a place of well-being for individuals who like to connect with nature while staying in a primitive cabin away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The interior consists of a variety of wood-eastern white pine, cedar and cherry. The living area has furniture made by local Amish, septic system for flush toilet, instant hot water, small bedroom with bunk bed (full mattress on bottom/ twin on top), efficiency kitchen, and loft with queen mattress.

Come relax in a private guesthouse situated in the middle of 60 acres of woods. Located just 5 minutes from campus, this is a great place to unwind or the perfect home base to explore Athens, Ohio University, and the broader region. The studio layout is great for solo travelers, couples, and small families. We have over three miles of marked, wooded trails to explore (trail map provided) with sandstone cliffs and 2 waterfalls. PaPa Cabin

“Summer” at PaPa Cabin be prepared for a different experience. This little house, perched on a cliff, is off the grid, surrounded by forest. A quarter mile walk through the woods leads to the cabin. Bedroom sleeps two on the comfy bed. With only 12 volt (like your car) solar electricity, gas heat, some 12v fans (no AC) it will be an adventure! In the kitchenette, guests will find a propane range top, a fridge, and cooking utensils, bottled water, outside a charcoal grill.
