A central point between Kitchener and Waterloo, it’s less than a minute away from Highway 85 and a 5 minute drive to either Uptown Waterloo or downtown kitchener. Grand river hospital, University of Waterloo and Laurier University are all also less than a 10 minute drive. An ideal base to explore what KW has to offer!

Visit Cox Creek Winery, Kissing Bridge, G2G & Cotton Tail hiking/biking trail, snowshoeing, snowmobile trails & Chicopee Ski Resort. Two dogs on the property. Walkout basement, king bed, portable crib (on request) shower, kitchenette, seating area, natural light. Large backyard, firepit, barbeque, outdoor eating area. Keyless, separate, private entry, free parking.

Tranquil Tiny House Retreat 4-Season Radiant Floor

Take it easy at this unique cabin experience in the city. The Tiny House is a private 9’ x 12’, fully insulated, 4 season cabin with a couch, kitchenette with running water, queen bed, Loftnet hammock & outdoor shower. Enjoy the natural beauty of our half acre tree-filled backyard, yet still close to downtown Guelph. This is a glamping experience that requires appreciation for tiny house living. Guests have access to a separate portable washroom, by walking about 100ft to the back of the yard.

Riverside Retreat

One bedroom self-contained basement apartment right on the bank of the Grand River in historic Fergus, Ontario. Very quiet. Spacious screened porch next to Grand River! Fifteen minutes walk (or less than five minutes drive) to downtown Fergus. Beautiful downtown Elora, Elora Gorge Conservation Area and Belwood Lake Conservation Area are all within a ten minute drive. Note that access is down a flight of exterior stairs and unfortunately is not suited for individuals with mobility challenges.

Red Door Cottage 1-bedroom Downtown Apartment

Cozy, quiet, one-bedroom apartment in downtown Guelph with private access, 4-piece bathroom, eat-in kitchen with microwave, toaster oven, 1-burner induction hotplate, and mini-fridge. Relaxing living room with 43", HD, Roku-enabled TV. Free, on-street overnight parking. We are a 2 minute walk from the closest restaurant. More restaurants, banks, shopping, grocery store and parks are within a 10-minute walk. As of February 1, 2024 we have had to add 13% to our nightly fee to cover sales tax.

Broken Silo

Built in 1867, our attached carriage house has been renovated into a studio apartment. It has a private bath, complete kitchen, sitting area, in-floor heat, coffee and tea. We are located 7 kms south of Elora, 10 kms west of Fergus and 15 kms north of Guelph in the hamlet of Ponsonby. The apartment has a king size bed and a smart TV. No Pets or Smoking. Longer term rentals are available at discounted prices. We have honey bees, chickens, pigeons and a dog named Penny on the property.

Located in the city core of Guelph, close to Guelph Lake, University of Guelph and Rockwood Conservation.

The Farm Shed - Guelph, Elora, Fergus

The Farm Shed is a quaint, rustic, and newly renovated guest accommodation on our working, 130-acre, family farm. Once used for machinery storage, a farm mechanics workshop, housing pigs, a farm store, and a farm office, now a retreat for guests to enjoy a quiet farm stay. Please know that we live & work on the farm. The Farm Shed has air-conditioning and a natural gas fireplace for heating, supplemented by an electric heater wall unit that makes it comfortable all year round.
